Drove my jeep to work today. 1st time parking it in the wilds of the city. Windows off, all washed and shiny. It was right out front of the clinic for only 3 hrs. (I try not to work too hard 
)
I was epic ducked! This sucker was huge. They reached right in and put it on the centre console.
I had it for a total of 22 minutes until I saw JK mom loading groceries and passed it along. No yellow ducks staying in my gothic jeep.

Today, my cousin and I put the front shocks on. For the record, all shocks are now Bilstein 4600s. The old shocks were completely dead. We also installed RT-CTZ metal hood latches which not only look great but keep the hood from vibrating up and down when driving into the wind. The jeep now drives almost like a regular automobile. At some point, I will probably replace the steering stabilizer but I have tractors to take care of first. It has been an educational experience so far. I'm sure it will continue.
Giving this Car Guys stuff a shot on the flares. If it washes off, it's free. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. 
@E-Ticket and I picked up a cooler of poo on the East Rim Trail after running Triple 7s with the TJ Fest crowd.

I had to put on a hazmat suit before commenting on this post. All I have to say is yuck but good job.
Over the last few days I built another door storage cart. This one holds 2 sets of doors. Necessary since I now have 3 sets of doors and I do run doorless sometimes.
Volunteered to take my daughter to dance practice last night (and wait for her) so I had some empty road and re broke in my BMB pads to get ride of a low speed screech.
Just the ac. Doesn’t count the suspension and lift and wheels and tires and steering kit I had installed. We won’t discuss that cost
I would buy some cans of refrigerant and see if it kicks on. Then you know if its a leak or a compressor. Cheaper than a shop telling you.

Ok, let me pick some brains here as I'm a little stumped. The fluid on the L is ATF+4. The fluid on the R is what came out of the 42RLE. Now here is the weird part, what came out does not smell burnt, or is it red/pink. It's a gold/brown color and does NOT smell anything like ATF at all. Smells more like hydraulic or power steering fluid. So, I have no clue what the hell the previous owner had put in the transmission, as the only "gold/brown" trans fluids I've seen have seen for CVT's or HD trucks, and how the hell has it been working this long with no issues?!

Hit 200k on the odometer today. I've had her since 2020, need to see how many miles were on it when I got it. In celebration, she turned her own check engine light off (true story).
