It’s like a swaddle, for Jeep dad’s, just not quite as soft, but just as comforting.
I could swaddle with the best of them if I do say so my self. Now I want a T-shirt, "Swaddle Master, If you know you know"

I had a very brief trip to Moab this weekend and brought the jeep which has been sitting since mid-August.
We only did Schafer Trail and Poison Spider. The rest of the time I just used to jeep to drive to and from the AirBnb.
I did the real steep climb near where Poison Spider meets with Golden Spike. I didn't try this climb in 2020 because my water pump was failing, but trying it this weekend I had a glimpse of the behavior the midarm has. The jeep was planted and I simply spun the tires while climbing. I look forward to driving it more!
Also found my rear ARB line has a leak somewhere...

The F150 trans is out at 175k miles. I am locked out of gears 4, 5 and 6.
I've been at max capacity when it comes to towing with this truck, and we are talking about purchasing a camper in the future. So, a new daily driver has made its way home with me today.
2025 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 engine. 23,500 miles.

I've been considering a new truck, want vs need, and the 6.4 2500 Ram is at the top of my list. While I'd like a diesel, the need isn't there to justify the additional cost. Keep us posted on your thoughts, as you settle into it!
Will do! I drove it 100 miles home this afternoon. It has the multi-displacement system which shuts down certain cylinders to be more efficient during certain times. Lots of complaints about this when reading about it, but it was invisible to me. Power is great - and I averaged 18 mpg home. However any city driving (stop and go) and mpg plummets.
I really wish I had gone this route instead of my Gladiator. Nice ride

The first one. This one has the creature comforts but they did something with tuning where it doesn't have the same power. Irritates the hell out of me. Probably for better GPM's
The difference between the 2020 and the 2026 feels like a whole gear off when pulling hills.
Nice Ram! I’m in the same boat and just sold my 11 tundra with 171k yesterday. Towed great but started showing its age with rust forming.

I'm watching Ritchie bros for a 28' goose neck, see what those are going for. Is nice having a truck that can tow anything you can throw at it.
Thanks! So far, 2 days in, I am really enjoying it. It has the massive ipad for a dash which I am still trying to learn and was actually trying to avoid, but couldn't seem to. I am going to tow the jeep with it in a couple weeks and look forward to seeing how it does.
I was eyeing GMs - but around here, they're consistently $10k more.
And they have motor issues from my research. I was looking at an AT4 but shied away from it for that reason and also the fact that the towing capacity is only 400# more than the Gladiator.
Capacity and ability are two different things.
