That depends on your taste in styles. I run Walker Evans forged aluminum beadlock wheels but for most I'd recommend looking at other less costly brands like American Racing.Which brands?
Tell her she needs to upgrade, same as she did with the tires...![]()

5" of lift, 5.38's, Currie steering, Black Magic brakesSo, how much of a lift are we looking at to run 35s and what gearing would my Auto Rubicon need (4.10s currently)? I believe with 33s you folks said 5.38s, how much higher would you need to go for 35s?
5.38 is as low of a ratio as can be installed in the Rubicon axles and that's definitely what you want for 35's with your 4-speed automatic transmission. Just so there's no confusion in ratio-speak, 5.38 is a lower ratio than 4.88 is.So, how much of a lift are we looking at to run 35s and what gearing would my Auto Rubicon need (4.10s currently)? Would you say 5.38 also for an 03 manual rubicon and 35s?5.38 is as low of a ratio as can be installed in the Rubicon axles and that's definitely what you want for 35's with your 4-speed automatic transmission. Just so there's no confusion in ratio-speak, 5.38 is a lower ratio than 4.88 is.
5 or 6 speed? Is it on the highway a lot? What type of offroading?Would you say 5.38 also for an 03 manual rubicon and 35s?
5speed, about 14 miles a day highway back and forth to work, moab type and colorado rock trails.5 or 6 speed? Is it on the highway a lot? What type of offroading?
I think it looks ok. Those are 35” KM2s. I have a 2.5” lift, 1.25” BL, 3/4” spacers up front because of the winch. Stock gears 4.10s, and stock brakes. I haven’t noticed any significant powerloss and this will be debated I’m sure, but you don’t have to throw the steep gears with big brakes on. It can be driven the way mine is setup. So, how much of a lift are we looking at to run 35s and what gearing would my Auto Rubicon need (4.10s currently)? You don’t have to have 4” to make it work. If your jeep is mainly on road 3.75” is more than enough. I had 33s on that same setup before I put 35s in there. I changed nothing to the suspension and I still have plenty of clearance. I had way too much fenderwell showing with 33s.I really like the look of your Jeep, Chris. I'm surprised that a 4" will work for 35s when you have to have a 4" to make 33s work.
I think your Jeep is perfectly proportioned. That's how I want mine to look. You don’t have to have 4” to make it work. If your jeep is mainly on road 3.75” is more than enough. I like the stance now. As soon as the lift and 33s were on it originally I hated how much room there was. I knew right away I should have trusted my gut and went with 35s to begin with. I listened to too many opinions and got spooked lol.I think your Jeep is perfectly proportioned. That's how I want mine to look.
4.88 would normally be the optimal choice but with your Colorado altitudes I'd go with 5.13.5speed, about 14 miles a day highway back and forth to work, moab type and colorado rock trails.
