What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed a new Smittybilt 3" front tube bumper to match the back one. I am thrilled with the new look! I had to zip tie the plate for now, the bracket was shipped in a different box. It isn't scheduled to arrive until Wednesday.

Replaced tensioner and idler pulley. Kept old parts for emergency spares.

Got Stinger back. It has air! Air conditioning that is. Mac's Radiator in Bend did the plumbing. Cascade Auto Electric wired it. Again Mac's evacuated the unit and charged it. 39 degrees at the vent. Oh ya baby.:D

I may have to add a pusher fan. When I brought it home I was told to manually turn on the fan when using the AC. I did that and it still made the engine run warmer than I would like.:(
It looked like an easy job to wire it however I had three sets of instructions-- two from Novak, and the factory service manual. None agreed with the other hence letting the pros do it.

However for now I am focused on fabricating skid plates for the engine and tranny. Not a lot of hard points on which to mount these!:(

Replaced the heater/ac fan speed control switch. Flushed and filled the radiator. Changed the oil and filter. Removed the theft deterrent lug nut on the spare tire and put correct spare tire on the spare tire carrier.

Had a go at removing my doors...again !!! 3rd time now and still nothing... just turned spring down here...so I need to get it done.
Also replaced my highlights from stock to a LED side light and brighter white light halogen combo.... works well and cheap... massive difference.

The door hinge pins won't lift out after removing the hinge pin nut at the bottom? Have you tried spraying a penetrating lubricant into the hinge like Liquid Wrench, Kroil, etc.?

Well,

I was looking for half doors at eBay but they were too overpriced, i know jeep and spare parts has become an expensive hobbie but come on, is not a Ferrari, lol.

Since i live next to El Paso, TX border here in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua - Mexico, is possible to find great deals with local sellers so, i got a nice pair of half doors for an incredible price of $ 200 bucks with no dents or scratches, just 2 little cracks on panels, it is just an aesthetic issue. I will rebuild them with fresh spare parts and white color.

I already started removing old paint, hopefully i will ride the new doors soon, unfortunately, rain season began few weeks ago, let´s wait for a sunny sunday.

Yes removed the nut at the bottom and 2 different types of penetrating oil... soaked it overnight even :(...but it wont even budge. Looked on Utube tried the trolley jack ,and rubber mallet options too.(and I'd hate to pay somebody to do it for me) tell you what though when they do come off they wont go back on with grease, grease and more grease lol

Try swinging the doors back & forth as you lift up on them.

I created dividers in my glove box out of foam board. I was tired of the jumbled mess.

Put new shocks on, bilstein 5100's. Very happy with them. New coil springs also.
