I have the H&R springs, a 1/2" body lift and a 3/4" spring spacer in the front.
The perfect recipe for 31's, IMO. You shouldn't have to worry about track bars, or drive line vibes with this setup.

Honestly I’ve never liked the idea of a body lift when I could just upgrade my suspension. It’s a 17 year old vehicle so I might as well.Wondering...for 1" why not just get it with a 1" BL and save some coin. The look at the well will be the same.
Can I get a couple of pics of your rig?I have the H&R springs, a 1/2" body lift and a 3/4" spring spacer in the front.
Why not Fox shocks?More and more will recommend the Rancho 5000x rather than the Bilstein 5100.
Out of the box, the valving is said to be pretty harsh for a TJ. Re-valving is spendy. And Foxes cost more than most are willing to spend. Why not Fox shocks?
That looks great. I have a 04 in the same color. I am still plotting my suspension.I have 32.5” tires

looking back you are correct, the springs were 1" lift and I added about another inch with the spring pucks leveling it out.Really good looking Jeep. I didn’t know they came in 2” springs.
@StG58 has the H&R 1" springs and Bilstein 5100s. Hopefully he'll see this and chime in. Last I heard though, he loves it!
Yup, installed them awhile ago on my SE and love'm. There's an install thread here someplace with pictures, measurements and details. I'll see if I can find it again. What are the spring rates and free lengths on the H&R coils?
I'm curious as to why H&R over Old Man Emu's lower lift springs.Yup, installed them awhile ago on my SE and love'm. There's an install thread here someplace with pictures, measurements and details. I'll see if I can find it again.
I got right at 1-1/2" of lift front and rear. Let me look at my notes to see if I can find the spring free lengths. H&R doesn't release spring rates. I could attempt to calculate that, if there's enough interest.
The H&R / Bilstein combination works extraordinarily well, EXCEPT for thing like washboard roads. High frequency small events are magnified by this combination.
Got it. ~$250 for all four.
