Dropped pitman arm question

I have a dropped pitman arm and the dropped pitman arm bracket on the drag link (I think I'm explaining it right )

Is that good or a stock pitman arm and more angle on the drag link?

If you already have a dropped track bar bracket it wouldn’t be ideal to go through removing those welds and al that. If it’s just bolted on I would go back to stock. But dropping the pitman arm and trackbar mount does work okay if your lift is really high 6+

If I lose the dropped pitman arm and the mount what can I expect as far as handling - what I'm saying is I don't know what I'm doing .

Likely no difference, assuming the current arrangement locates the track bar and drag link correctly. If not, then you ought to see an improvement. The biggest reason I see to return to stock is to reduce the leverage against the track bar mount. There may also be some clearance issues with the drops. I don't think mine would stuff as high as it does if those two links were any lower.

You should have their angle from mounting point to mounting be as close as possible (so yes parallel if you pull a string between the mounts). And equal lengths if possible but that’s more of a custom situation. At 4” your best setup to run is stock pitman, stock trackbar, and Currie Currectlync which jv and I both run!

Cool I will look into it... About the only steering issue that I'm noticing is on a road with a crown I have to countersteer a little bit but that may be normal.

I had a real slight wandering issue and I replace the drag link joint at the pitman arm because I noticed it wobble when I did a dry test.

I'm being really really picky so there's some point where I need to back off and say this is okay...Some people that have driven it have said it's the best lifted Jeep they've ever driven... And these were guys that had lifted jeeps or had been around four wheel drives a lot
