I have silver wheels and chrome diamond plate rockers, I am thinking about doing a duplicolor Chrome job on mirrors, gas cap, and getting chrome door handles and chrome brake light cages. Anybody have a Jeep with lots of chrome? Please post pictures. I’m open to suggestions and advice. I’m not sure if i want a chrome look but I’m willing to try it out. If anyone has advice please send it in. Is it a good idea or a bad idea?

Lol some people like the blacked out look but I love my silver tires so I want to play off that theme.

The smallest amount is to much. Chrome is for Harley’s and the ‘70s.
So should I paint my wheels black and paint my rockers black or should I leave them as is and go for a blacked out look?

The wheels are fine, its all of the rest that I feel makes it gaudy.
The ones I run are pictures above and are pics of my Jeep, I think it looks good but what is your opinion?

The diamond plate is an attractant for police, I like to not be seen and the bright and flashy is not my personal thing. If you like the chrome, roll with it.
Attractant as they notice it more? I think I’ll roll with it but not add any more, I love the look of chrome on the old CJs too

Yes, they notice flashy things, its like having a neon sign that says look at me and Ticket magnet...
That’s true, at the same time jeeps are noticeable as is especially with a lot of heavy mods.
