Looking for sway bar disconnect options

Ok, so besides the JKS sway bar disconnects for $170, which is rediculous, what have others used for them? I am considering getting some 1/2" heim joints and building them. I think that the clevis pin option is clunky...so what have others done? Tim

Metalcloak $99. As far as quick disconnects go, they work perfectly. I have used a stopwatch on them. 15 seconds to disconnect and stow. 15 seconds and they're back on. I'm getting a Currie anti rock later this year, but until then, these are great.

I didn't have any problems. I got them in 4 days, but I only live 150 miles from them and it was a small item.

Use a wrench to unbolt the links from the axle and zip tie it up out of the way. Works fine, I did that for a couple years. Takes 5-6 minutes, it's free.

Jerry, mine are too short now with the short arm lift. I could weld on extensions, but I was hoping for a better option. Tim

Zone makes some extended fixed links for somewhere around $40

They make front and rear. At $80 total, front and rear, that comes in way below the $170 that JKS wants.

I ran these for a couple years before the Antirock. They did everything they needed to do and they stayed tight and secure for the 20k miles I had them.

I just looked up the zone ones, I have 3.5" lift, but they offer a 2-3 and a 4-5...so now which one should I choose?

Do you feel like you got the full "3.5" inches? Or has is compressed slightly from use and age?

I might think about the 4" also but, consider the above too.

Well I am running as set of used spring until I swap axles, they measure right at 3.5" Eventually I will do the synergy or Currie 4" springs.

I'd say definitely go 4-5 then. No reason to take a chance on short links when 4-5 will be just fine until you get the new springs, and perfect when you do get them.
