Flap disc is correct. Takes less off, hence some being labled “blending disc,” from DeWalt. Maybe there is a less aggressive one...

Front universals and bearings/hubs. Changed differential fluid front and rear and transfer case fluid
No, likely my TJ. Might retube it. Working on another 44 today. Gonna de-tube it and get the C’s off.

Finished up the CB installation. Well, almost. 1 or 2 little things left. Had a couple 4' antennas laying around from a motorcycle project. Wilson Flex and a Firestik. Knew before I tried it, but wanted to run the Wilson for super flex ability. Horrible SWR though, just like when it was on the bike. Didn't even finish trying to tune it, as I knew it wouldn't go down below 2.5 or higher on 1 and 40. Swapped it with the Firestik and instant below 1.5, got it to 1.3-ish on 1 and 40 and 1.1 on 20. Again, just like when it was on the bike. May swap it down the road for a 2' or 3'.

A lady pulled out in front of me 7 days after I bought it. I’m gonna fix and paint it when time allows.
Installed LED headlights. Removed front bumper end caps. Removed stock spare wheel snubbers and replaced with snubbers sized to fit larger than stock spare.
Changed the oil early this morning and switched to a different filter from the parts store brand stock shorty type that was on there. I like having the larger filters on my engines. This Baldwin is for '70s Ford V8. Nice fit on the 4.0. It takes an extra half quart to fill it now. Not that that's a bad thing.
Afterwards, I put the top back up as I got a bit sunburned yesterday and did another trip to Jackson with "portable shade". It seems like it likes about 60mph best on the highway. And I'd forgot how noisy the top gets. Had to crank the stereo up just to hear it.

I installed new tow hooks on my front bumper.

I have the same exact ones on mine. I like those better than the ones that came on the TJs. Its reminds me of the YJs tow hooks. For me, YJs are the reason I fell in love with Jeeps. So, that is my little nod to YJs on my TJ.
In general, I like them. In my case, I had to switch them since the factory ones wouldn’t fit with my winch plate and fog lights.
Joined a few Jeeps down to cruise Hoosier National Forest. First time with the dogs, used a cheap harbor freight bungie cord net. It worked but going to get something much more fit for purpose. Loved having them with me
Made it just over half way through AX15 rebuild.
With the help of @bobthetj03 my fox 11" shocks and poly mounts were installed. I haven't drove the jeep enough to give any detailed road impression yet but they ceartainly aren't any more harsh than the ranchos they replaced.
