Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

What did you do to your TJ today?

Here's a couple others, I know the grill isn't a favorite here but my wife got it for me and they would only give a partial return if I sent it back. So whatever, it is what it is n I love my wife. View attachment 9030View attachment 9031View attachment 9032View attachment 9033

You know what the best thing about owning a jeep is? You have the ability to make this purchase 100% you. It doesn't matter what your inspiration or reason is. All that matters is that it's yours. My jeep mostly looks like what the previous owner wanted(minus that chrome grille)... yet I own it. And that's all that matters.
That being said... your Jeep looks amazing. I might be biased to white Jeeps.

HEY!!!! :2guns:
Why are emojis yellow?(don't google that. You will regret it)

I love this forum. Want to know what's better than having 1 LJ in the family? Having two.
I really want to add a comical hashtag to this post but don't want to go too political on the first forum I actually enjoy!

This actually happened on Monday but I never posted about it... Took my Jeep to Firestone and paid for a lifetime alignment service. I do plan on doing some easy/moderate trail riding and I'm looking forward to being able to get it aligned as needed at no added cost.

Then in the distant future when I upgrade my lift... alignments at no cost :headbang:

Had a go at removing my doors...again !!! 3rd time now and still nothing... just turned spring down here...so I need to get it done.
Also replaced my highlights from stock to a LED side light and brighter white light halogen combo.... works well and cheap... massive difference.View attachment 6046

What type of LED's did you change over to, and how was the process??

I switched to Xenon Look Superbright Halogen's for my main lights and LED's for my park lights....switched my rear lights to bayonet fitting LED's too.....simple as swapping over the bulbs. Pic 1. The Halogens Pic 2. LED park lights and Pic 3. LED rears.
Hope this helps @jplyfe

Yes removed the nut at the bottom and 2 different types of penetrating oil... soaked it overnight even :(...but it wont even budge. Looked on Utube tried the trolley jack ,and rubber mallet options too.(and I'd hate to pay somebody to do it for me) tell you what though when they do come off they wont go back on with grease, grease and more grease lol
Finally .. Doors are off !!!!!:aplastao: and just in time for the summer down here too....Had to use a huge hammer and the biggest hole punch I had plus plenty more penetrating oil soaking morning and night haha...

Lets see, over the holiday I installed a stereo system in my daughters lifted Liberty. Integrating it with the factory amps was extra fun! Put a set of rear light guards on my wife's JK and changed the atf, air filter and cabin air filter. I helped my son bed line the interior of his 97 TJ, put a new wheel cylinder, hard brake line, and drum spring kit, added a small light bar, three lights, and wired them cleanly. On my 98 TJ I put a new clutch/brake pedal assembly and hydraulic clutch mc/sc system. Then when returning from St. Augustine (New Years vacation) my TJ was loosing power big time. This was a because of a broken and clogged cat. So, just when I thought I was done turning wrenches, I removed the exhaust from the header back and installed a Magnaflow cat system and a Banks Monster cat back system. How about that for something to do over the holiday. Of course, my 16 year old son (97 TJ) was there to assist and learn the whole time.

Always nice to have a spare shop hand @fljeeper!

Can't wait until my daughters are old enough to help me out like that.

Enjoy your the time when your daughter is young. My 18 year old daughter keeps having boys following her around - and that my friend is highly annoying. She is interested in learning about maintaining her Liberty. She assists me changing the oil. She got to hear some cussing and see some tool throwing when I changed her radiator. The radiator/condenser/power steering sandwich was so fun in a hot Florida garage in September.

I know! Our oldest daughter is already 4, and I keep asking myself how it's gone by so fast.

Definitely not looking forward to the teenage years.

It's good for women to have skills like working on cars. That's one of the things I am determined to teach my daughter.

I installed a new stereo in my 05 unlimited and I don't know how to integrate the subwoofer! Can you run me through the process?

What head unit? How big is ur amp? Do you have an external voltage meter to adjust bass? How many subs? Just 1 terminal?

Replaced headlights and tail lights with LED. Love the visibility that the headlights give. It’s like night and day. Really. Can even see behind me while backing up but still going to add a cube in the back for trails.

I installed an Alpine cde-1438T. The amp is stock . I don't have a voltage meter, just one stock sub and I'm not sure about the terminal.
I do know that it was a direct plug and play connection for the radio. I'm sorry for my ignorance!
