Thanks, on my list
Getting ready to put it up for sale.
Nooooo!!
I really like the Rockville. I chose it because of the reviews on YouTube and the fact it can't be stolen without the seat being removedI got the 5.25 and 6.25 POLK speakers for xmas. Under the tree now. Didn't come boxed from Amazon so surprise was ruined. But I'm happy.
What made you choose that subwoofer?
I really like the Rockville. It doesn't have interior rattling bass but it fills the missing gap of mid bass the 5.25s dont have. The other nice thing is the adjustments can be reached through the seat bracket holes and theres no way to steal it without removing the seatHow do you like the Rockville? Did you consider others?
As much as I love my LJ, I've been considering this same thing. Four doors would make using the Jeep much more practical where I currently am in life. As you're doing, I would only consider a JL though. Nice that this one fell into your lap! This came out of left field and I can't pass up the opportunity that landed in my lap this AM. My friend, the one who put my engine in, is moving on to a new build and is parting ways with his JL that is severely built. He is getting a 2018 Track Hawk for his DD and then will build, most likely, a 2 door JK with an exo-skeleton, D60s, 40s, etc...
I watched him go from stock Rubi to...
2018 Rubi Unlimited - Completely loaded, cold weather package, tow package, Alpine package, blah blah blah. Sticker $54k
37s on beadlocks
4.88 gears
Stear Smart components up front
3.5" Teraflex lift
Mopar tailgate reinforcement
Warn Zeon 10s winch
Cromoly CV front axles with axle disconnect delete
$2100 Rino rack roof rack
Rino rack camping canopy
CO2 tank for airing up
CB radio
Headliner
Oil catch can
Mopar tube doors
Muffler delete (can't recall which one)
The Jeep has run the Rubicon Trail among many many others across the country. He's letting it go for $44,400 and I can't pass that up. We will sell my LJ and with the profit from that we will build my wife's 2018 Sahara up to be darn close to what I'm buying. She already has the D44s and lockers installed.
It's not just the parts it's who built it, he is meticulous in everything he does.

One thing I love about my LJ is it's the perfect size. With the rear seat out is has great cargo room and is a great balance of nimble on the trail and comfortable on the road.
Did you fasten it to the floor pan? Also did you pull power from the battery? If so where did you go thru the firewall?I really like the Rockville. I have both too (see my avatar) and agree with this. I tow trailers and definitely like the added capacity - 3,500 vs. 2,000 lbs.100% agree! I have both a TJ and LJ, with the LJ being my favorite by far. The TJ is fantastic on tight trails or woods, but the LJ isn't bad in those conditions. The LJ also doesn't give me the pucker factor the TJ does on steep climbs or descents!
I ran my power supply through the big rubber plug just to the right of the go peddle just above the tranny hump.Did you fasten it to the floor pan? Also did you pull power from the battery? If so where did you go thru the firewall?
