I'm assuming you had to remove the whole front grill? I've looked into making my own but don't feel like take the grill apart. Looks good tho.

I didn't remove the grill. The inserts come with 2 fasteners each (top and bottom) with 2.5mm allen screws that they attach to behind the grill. For the most part it was an easy job, except for the last insert. Since there is no way to hold it in place, I used a flexible metal ruler to guide the fastener into place. Major PITA, as the insert kept falling out of place, if I only had 3 hands at that moment in time!!

lol it wasn't to bad took about 2hrs to get that far. only because I didn't have all the tools and had to go buy some. took about 3.5 hours to do it all

Oh man - my wife standing over me while I was trying to do all that would really put me over the edge! We celebrate 25 years in July - all good.

This looks simple compared to an 01 Audi S4 heater core replacement. One of the reason's I sold it for my TJ and have no regrets. Talk about having patience lol

I made and installed new brake lines, swapped the old 32x11.5 wheels and tires for 235/75-15 wheels and tires.
