Rokmen vs UCF transfer case skid

Just looking for some opinions between these two, or similar skid systems. Not interested in completely flat or a separate cross member. Most of the flat tucks require too much supporting work, and extreme pinion angle especially having a 241 since its larger. I already have a DC rear shaft, adjustable arms, and a BL MML I need to install. Installing tcase shift cable tonight and taking off my tcase drop bracket to gain 1.5" back to stock. Think I have narrowed down to UCF Extra clearance or Rokman.

Which one, and why?

Maybe alloy for t-case and steel for fuel tank? Seems like fuel tank skids get hammered. Worried about the alloy bending. Should I be? I ran alloy skids on atvs and they seem to take a beating ok.

I had the Rokmen one and it weighs a metric shit ton.

I wouldn't install it again simply because I'd rather have an aluminum one and save all the weight. Not even a question about it.

That Rokmen skid was just insanely heavy. Damn well made though!

6061-T6 Aluminum for both.

You can get UCF in really thick aluminum. 3/8s I believe but I think 1/4 inch aluminum would be fine

I know of a bent Nth, too. And I know several with Savvy and to my knowledge none have bent those yet.

6061 T6 for all of it. We've known this will work well going on at least ten years.

Call Rokmen before you waste too much time thinking about them. They have many things on their website that haven't been available for years. Their website is rarely updated but they answer the phone.

I have the UCF aluminum extra clearance skid. Pretty happy with it. Gives me much more clearance without going full flat tuck. Haven’t had it out on the rocks yet though. Got it during Black Friday sale when it was 20% off and free shipping.

How far does the UCF extra clearance hang down? If it is ~1.75" then the work to fit is the same as Savvy. At that point, you can get more clearance at the edges and the crossmember.

Rokmens customer service has been known to be pretty much non existent.

I have Rokmen and while it's 1/4" steel like UCF, I have to bend it back a few times a year to make my driveline vibes go away. I would steer clear of Rokmen for the non-existent customer service. Matt at UCF is good to work with.

While you can bend anything, Savvy has been the best for a long time. My aluminum GTS takes a beating. Tworley's is the exception. Not sure how he did it....maybe crappy spotting by JJVW I'm going to modify my Rokmen and use a crossmember instead. One more thing to add to the list...
