Which stubby bumper should I get?

Just to give a photo to those who haven’t seen the savvy bumper, the rear two bolts are often left unused on aftermarket bumpers. The rearmost one is where the stock sway bar mount would go.

I’m not really sure what the rearmost bolt does, I’m sure it is just extra insurance in case you go crazy while winching.

I wish I went with the savvy, if for nothing else than the deeper top deck and weight. If you can match either for a better price, go for it. If I had access to a welder I wouldn’t care as much (which tosses out the powder coating cost, or at least defers it).

The motobilt is fine, but the shallowness looks a bit odd and also limits accessory options with my big 9.5ti winch.

I’m surprised with @Jerry Bransford ’s sway bar bolt experience, Jeep seems to typically have matched bolts to usage fairly well and my OEM ones there are metric 10.9. I even impact wrenched them in with no issue (yes, wrong tool for those).

Little off topic but what lights are you running on the front there? I’m looking to get some more lights on the front and like the mini-bars / pods. Did you just splice them into to the factory fog connector or wire them separately?

The center bar has is own dash switch. The two side bars are wired to the factory fog light switch.

Shoot, so many recommendations for the Savvy like I expected. To throw another option in the mix I think I like the look of the JCR stubby’s. Much different than all the other ones I originally posted but I do like it.

Any opinions on the JCR Dagger?

Looking through the whole thread again, why get it powder costed? DIY and make touch ups easy and saves money.

I like the following the best (in no particular order):
PS
KDF
Warn
Dave’s
Savvy
RockHard
