It works good as long as you do not take away a large portion of what little frictional area there is between the winch mounting feet and the deck.
Well I've came down on rocks not necessarily smashed but I want a strong bumper that'll handle whatever comes its way
My cheap smittybilt that i scored didn't seen to have gotten any damage, done that twice and It scared me a bit cause of the shock but hey gotta keep going

I’m tempted to buy the crawltek bumper but if I do that with my luck the savvy bumper will drop right after.

Not in my case when it comes to my front bumper.....But when deals come up and its under 100 bucks.....why not lol

This is like carpet doesn't match the drapes talk.
It's not quite as stubby (43 7/16") but I've been eyeing the Ruff Stuff bumper. I think it looks pretty solid and clean.
