Choosing grease

I've used Red n Tacky for years. My biggest complaint about it, It liquifies in my grease gun and leaks out the bottom.
I did recently pick up a tube of Green grease, no complaints so far.

The green crap does the same.

How is it with separation?

It does it, just takes a very long time and it only does it mildly.

I figured it probably would, gets kind of annoying seeing red shit leaking out the bottom of a 120.00 Snapon grease gun onto the floor.
I do find the cheap general purpose grease that we use at the dealership doesn't do that.
The other option I may try is the Lucas X-tra duty grease.

There was a grease thread on Pirate many years ago. I only bought the green shit due to many on there saying it didn't separate. About a month later the little tool case is full of green liquid. Liar liar pants on fire.

Good for CV, not good for bearings that turn fast or that is correct for u-joints and wheel bearings. I'd easily use it on ball joints and steering joints.

I don't know if it works in something like the stock JK driveshafts. I do know if you use it in trailer wheel bearings, it will eat them up in a few hundred miles.

I might use the red n tacky but I don’t want it leaking out of the grease gun lol. It seems the best multi-purpose grease for drivetrain and chassis which is what I want, for example my u-joints, wheel bearings, and my JKS sway links.

Sounds like a good grease but I’d rather use only one grease for every component just to make service easy
