Body Armor / Currie Incompatible?

Have my new Body Armor bumper, AntiRock sway bar, Warn winch, and lights ready to install. A YouTube video warned that some full width bumpers don't leave enough room for the Currie sway bar. It appears my new bumper is one of them! Only solution seems to be to grind out a notch in both ends of the bumper. Anyone else have this problem? Solutions?

I am considering just going to quick disconnects since I am 90% DD and only moderately aggressive offroad.

Thoughts?

I'd grind the bumper Lee, it won't take much. Once the grinding is touched up with black paint you won't even notice it.

And you strongly suggest the AntiLock over quick disconnect right? I think I remember your opinion from previous posts...

Yes I do Lee, both of my of my TJs have had Antirocks.

Turns out I will need to cut a 1.5" notch out of each side of this bumper to clear the Currie bars. Crap!!!

Question: "Adjust bars so they are level when the wheels are mid travel." I am thinking that is about half the distance from sitting flat to the wheels barely off the ground. Is that correct? - Thanks.

It'd be more worthy and certainly worthy of many trails up there. I haven't seen your Jeep to know which trails yet. Do you ever drive it when you come out to Oceanside Lee?

No. Admiral likes more comfort. But she is excited about the Big Bear run you mentioned... [emoji6]

We might start towing the Jeep behind my Escalade when traveling though. Going on our first club run tomorrow...

Well, taking a grinder to a new bumper was tough. So its done and AntiRock rods have been shortened. Hopefully it all goes back on tomorrow after our morning club run.

Didn't work! I measured perfect for the sides of the AntiRock bars but did not consider the upward motion. This bumper sits further back so now I gotta notch out on top each side. Next trip, the Jeep goes with the bumper and I'll let the expert decide what needs to be done.

So tomorrow's run will be with the AntiRocks and my stock bumper. Oh well....
