Which rear axle would you choose?

I am not Blaine but the Super 35 will work well for most people unless your driving style resembles that of an east coast rock bouncer.

Yes, tons of people wheel with 35s and a Super 35 axle. Unless you drive like a dipshit you have nothing to worry about.
I'm not mrblaine but the Super 35 was specifically designed jointly by him and Mac McMillan at Superior Axle to handle 35" tires with a locker on even the notoriously tough rock crawling trails in Johnson Valley CA where it was tested extensively.
One thing to note about the Dana 35 is that the ring and pinion strength difference compared to the Dana 44 equates to approximately one ratio change. For example Dana 35 4.56 gears are approximately the same strength as Dana 44 4.88 gears. There are things I consider a must do to get the most out of a Dana 35 like using a crush collar eliminator and using ring and pinion sets with the larger ring gear bolts as well as not using any factory carriers as the ring gear flange is known to flex allowing the bolts to loosen.
Is this what happens when the meds start to wear off, it hampers your ability to construct coherent sentences?

not long back Daveys had 2 Dana 44 TJ housings, both needed some type of bracket repair, but both were cheap.
