Do you think that the Draw system is worth the cost? I have been pondering it for a while now. At present I have 2 4x4 supercentre 78 litre sealed stackable tool boxes (pelican cases for our US friends) length to length that fit perfect in the same tub space with a home made half sliding shelf just above to fit my fridge or cooler, seems to work well with the limited rear space but is not as tidy as the draw system that's for sure!
I was advised by "Mr Plod" to put my rear seatbelt floor attachment back inhere in WA so I used two pieces of 40mm pvc pipe attached to each other at tub arch width and it works perfect as a boxes easily slide in and out under the shelf and clear the seatbelt and rear seat hardware but its just not neat & tidy enough for my OCD lol. Can you get side arch draw fillers to extend the draw top with.?

It was a significant investment for what it is however after getting prices of steel and parts you'd be lucky to build it cheaper.
After selling my hardtop the only downside was losing security. This was my main reason for the purchase, add a significant secure storage space for a soft top.
Plus the quality so far has been great. Definitely gives more usable space when camping.
I would buy again.

you can make filler pieces to make the deck go from tub side to tub side out of sheet metal angle, I used a piece with a 2" down leg, carpeted it, and screwed it to the side of the drawer box from the inside by removing the drawer for screw access. the box is a little taller than the wheel arches so I glued 1/2" closed cell foam on top of the arches to support the "wings" and prevent rattles, its quite sturdy. I have a shovel, machete, first aid bag, and a spill kit tucked in the cavity underneath the wings for quick access by folding the seats forward. there are a few pictures in my build thread, and some in a thread on storage drawers.

Bought a Currie antirock at my local ORS. $450 out the door. Is that a good price? In the back of my mind, I was thinking $520ish.

Starting my cruise control installation. Got the control stalk put in, too cold and windy to even think about installing the servo under the hood.
They factory cruise isn’t too hard to wire up if this doesn’t end up working out. I have all of the wiring highlighted on a PDF if you would like.
Only partially, and if I lower the wheel about a quarter inch, its fine from the seated position.

Can you program the aftermarket cruise control to operate better than the factory?
The factory cruise (IMO) only works well on flat ground. It really struggles going up and down hills.

I'll find out. I had a Rostra unit on an '87 F-250 years back and it was fine.
It was 80 yesterday, today it reached a high of 61 with a cutting wind. Flip flops yes, but a rather long skirt. Shorts would have killed me!
Must be nice to have Florida and Arizona problems. 6 inches of snow yesterday and 19 degrees currently on its way down to 14 over night in metro Detroit.
Goddess Mother, that's cold! The coldest weather I've ever been in was a heat wave in Chicago one January. It was 29 degrees with no wind. I was bundled up like crazy - I can't imagine colder temps like the 40 below that my late Mother used to tell me about when my parents live in Messina N.Y.!!
Our January has been real mild so far actually, we’ve been quite lucky. We usually get a cold snap where we get close to zero at night with daytime highs in the single digits and every few years, we’ll go a stretch of sub-zero highs but not too often in the southern part of the mitten. Now, Minnesota and North Dakota on the other hand....no thank you!!! Wouldn’t catch me living there December-March!

Too add to the thread, I got under the Jeep and found my rear sway bar bushings are shot. I'll get those on order tomorrow . Got a long drive to to wheel it in Sedona next month. That should help with the freeway driving miles.

I’ve visited my wife’s family in Phoenix and we drove up to Sedona for a day and they also have a place in Flagstaff so I know Arizona sees snow. I was merely poking fun because you and Zorba were mentioning shorts and 60’s and 70’s and I could only wish...I’m about 4 months away from even thinking about getting my shorts out of the storage bins! Hahaha!
I absolutely loved Arizona when I was there. It was one of my better vacations. So much to do and see if your outdoorsy even a little bit.
