What did you do to your TJ today?

I’ve visited my wife’s family in Phoenix and we drove up to Sedona for a day and they also have a place in Flagstaff so I know Arizona sees snow. I was merely poking fun because you and Zorba were mentioning shorts and 60’s and 70’s and I could only wish...I’m about 4 months away from even thinking about getting my shorts out of the storage bins! Hahaha!

I absolutely loved Arizona when I was there. It was one of my better vacations. So much to do and see if your outdoorsy even a little bit.

All good , I assumed you were poking fun at us.

I remember a time I loaded some steel in Gary, IN. Rode a winter storm around Chicago and out to a town west of Minniapolis/St Paul, MN. the next day. I could not roll my tarps up. They were frozen in the shape of the load. Was -38deg. I miss the good old days.

Life is strange! I have factory cruise and have never used it funny thing I have never used cruise control in any Vehicle lol
Yea. Cruise control is the ONE piece of "technology" I won't do without. I use it heavily in every vehicle I own. I sometimes joke that I'll engage the cruise to drive 100 yards! That's only a mild exaggeration...

Of course, this preference has caused me all sorts of grief over the years because its usually impossible to get CC without having to buy a bunch of other crap. So adding one to a basic vehicle has worked well for me, that was the situation with the afore mentioned F-250. But you couldn't do that with today's vehicles.

Finished up mounting my AR brackets on my KP60. Wow is it tight on the passenger side. Immediately noticed a HUGE difference in handling on the road with these on. With 40s and 1Tons it sure made a difference. Looking forward to getting rear AR too.

Did some fender trimming as well to clear the 40ds. Mounted bumpstops up front as well.

Saturday jeep is booked to finish exhaust up. Then I need to wire front Elocker to switch and hopefully take to a local trail to test er out !

Installed the Savvy transfer case cable last weekend and just finished installing the 1" motor mount lift from MORE this afternoon.

Neither job was difficult but luckily I had just enough ratchet extensions to reach the motor mount bolts. I was worried how difficult installing the through bolt would be but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I did run out of lift on my floor jack while trying to install the passenger side. I had already removed the factory mount so I inserted the through bolt in the mounting bracket and slowly lowered the motor. Added a couple pieces of wood and jacked it back up.

My jeep has a name at last:

Worked with

VellosVinyl.com on New Year's eve. There are lots of outfits that make
hood decals for Jeeps, but not many can do graphics, they're text only and their font
selection is minimal. Vello's Vinyl not only could do the lotus graphic, but their font
selection was tops! It took a couple of weeks to receive, USPS took their time delivering!

Before cruise control was common or I was just too poor to have it? I used put a brick on the gas pedal for long runs :)
