Trail List for me would be

Seven Mile Rim
Elephant Hill
Fins
Hells Revenge
Top of the World

The daughter and I always spend a day hiking to different arches. I would also be up for helping anyone New to Moab.
I also know my LJ can probably do more than the dumbass driving it..
Plan on hiking trails at elephant hill. The joint -

I know the spot you speak of. It’s definitely a good test to prepare for the other trails.

I think it was here

here’s another good test before heading out on longer rides

That’s the spot for sure. It was 50/50... right to the left looked easiest but 100% likely to roll.. straight down was no way in hell. Sat there pondering alone for about 10 minutes and someone eventually showed up, drove down no problem in fairly heavily modified jk then spotted me down. Had my aunt with me, she refused to go down in the keep and walked down with her broken pelvis and crutches.

@Chris Is there a section for mountain bike planning? I’ve been on YouTube the last few days. I want to run the whole enchilada and Cpt. Ahab. Open to others but, those seem top of the list. Need to get the shock rebuilt on my Mach 429.

@tworley and I are thinking of going for the first half. We would arrive on Friday evening April 23 and leave sometime Tuesday. His first and my second time.

At the moment, we would do Fins and Hells on Saturday to get acquainted. The rest is undecided. But I know we would be looking for some of the harder stuff.

I am going, I am looking fwd to hitting "whatever". I am open for scenic trails, technical trails, hard trails. I am also bringing the mt bikes.

I am looking fwd to meeting some of you and more important I am looking fwd to hitting some trails with some of you. Most of my good friends have come from wheeling and mt biking and Moab seems to be the best of both worlds. I look fwd to this trip and future trips that may come out of the friends made.

A really fun trail I did two years ago was Willow Springs Road coming out of Arches. It was many many miles of high speed racing through a dry river bed with a bunch of sudden stops to climb up some small steps and ledges.

Also, the hike up to Delicate Arch is really great.

No, but you could post a new thread in it for those who are planning to bring their mountain bike.

21 road on the way back?

I have to announce I will not be making it this year to TJ Fest. Aside from my TJ still not being done (still waiting on my transmission to transfer case adapter), and my LJ Rubicon now needing a clutch, end links, shocks, a radiator and 02 sensors, I was offered an opportunity today at work to switch to a team I've been trying to get on for the last 3 years. Unfortunately the week they want me to start is April 26 which would that first Monday of TJ Fest.

Truthfully this sucks as Moab is a bucket list trip for me but at the same time maybe it's a blessing in disguise. I've been pushing to get my diesel swap done and now I have a year to get all the kinks out of my RHD TJ and be there for TJ Fest 2022.

I'm still going to keep an eye on this thread and follow along all the posts, pictures, and videos from everyones adventures this year. I hope everyone has a great time and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone next year.
