Can u see screen in the sun? My current receiver with blue screen I can't see crap when top down and sunny outside. I need to upgrade but catious about being able to see screen in sun on my selections

That's why they recommend white background and black letters for convertibles on head units. It makes all the difference in the world...

Yep! I actually have had 4" of rain hit my stereo while driving back up from Florida and very surprised it still works. My marine speakers did their job though!

Haven't taken it out since I installed it today, but you can choose any color you can think of for the text and backlighting.

I have the 2016 model KDC BT562U, no problem viewing screen with or without top. Top off, windows up, hands free works well too.

Been chasing a P0301 code for a couple weeks. Pulled the plug today and the damn thing looks brand new. Not wet or anything. So, I pulled the injectors and switched 1 and 2. Let's see if the CEL comes back. Also pulled the throttle body and gave it a good scrub. What a difference in idle! I broke the IAC gasket so I made one out of cork.

Since my mistress is going to be topless all the time, I decided to finally get the doors off the floors.

These doors are heavy. Hope they don't sag...

Did some grinding on the driver side floor. I was going to do more but the scope of work was too much for today. I see some serious rust on the quarter panels that will only get worse over time. I met the coolest jeepster in south jersey that did about 5 hours of work on my engine. I payed about $300 in parts and he insisted I not give him a dime. Can't wait to return the favor. I'm blessed.

Put my Superwinch cover on the winch. Man, that install really made the sweat drain out of my pores! At least my synthetic is now protected from the elements.
