This is good advice that I know I forgot. For as soulless as the JK is, I was able to do fun mods on mine since I wasn't doing things to keep it functioning correctly. My LJ only has 45k miles on it and I have a laundry list of things I need to address when the weather gets warmer, and I'm not sure where I'll find the time.
What does it look like? Pics? Looking to sell? Here’s my card

Got the wires and sensors and everything back on the tranny. Filled it with 1.5qt of fluid. I was using Redline MTL. This time I tried Royal Purple Synchromax. Got the lower boot and console all cleaned up and back together. After double checking everything, I cranked the Jeep up and ran through the gears. Foot pressure on clutch feels the same. Everything was smoooth, no squealing. After reaching engine running temp, I changed the oil and filter with the conventional high mileage stuff. Then I used my hole saw to make a makeshift platform for tapping the front outer seal into the TCase. On Saturday I’ll get the outer seal and tap it in.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

If you love it, you’ll make the time. I think it’s one of those things that’s a make it break it for being a Jeep person.

Got the front output seal tapped in today and also mated the 4:1Tera Low to the transmission. This time I installed the crossmember first, lifted the TCase over and slid it on the transmission. Rear DS went on easy, but I had real trouble getting the front shaft to loosen so I could get it to the yoke. Literally had to ratchet strap it to get it free. 🙄

started the Jeep and drove away like it was brand new! Clutch pedal is a tad lighter. Feels great! Now I’ll wait and watch for leaks. After a light 25 minute drive all is well except one oil drop. I expect the RMS seal will continue to leak for a few hundred miles. Then hopefully the seal will soften and reseal. 😁
And 2 clean frame pics for reference

Used some Adel clamps to secure the lines along the inner driver frame rail. This is something I’ve been meaning to get hammered out for awhile. All good now

Feels good to pull it off, doesn’t it!
