Quadratec Customer Service Issues

Rockauto: ordered parts last week shipped half way around the world US to Perth AU almost 12,000 miles and delivered today :)
Its actually worth you guys paying priority shipping rather than waiting for "Free shipping" to eventually arrive :)
These companies have no excuses IMO. They always use Covid as an excuse as to why they take so long with shipping. My wife ordered something she wanted straight from China. DHL had it delivered to the door in 4 days. The Covid excuse went straight down the toilet after that.
p.s. I did spray the box and contents down with some Lysol.

USPS priority "From China" is almost as good as DHL "From China" in my opinion! China seems to own Germany and USA priority shipping lol

Whatever else can be said, any company that ignores emails and/or contact form requests doesn't get a visit back from me. Why companies build beautiful websites and then ignore the traffic they generate is beyond me - some of them are Fortune 500 outfits. Don't expect me to contact you through bullshit "Social Media", or even an online forum. If you can't respond when I email you, you're dead to me.

With that said, I've never emailed QT, so I don't know how they do, or don't respond. However, the one item I ordered from them took 6 weeks to arrive because it was suddenly "out of stock" when it had been listed as "in stock" on the website. Which seems to be their normal MO from what I'm reading here. As the price was VERY good, the part fairly hard to find, and I wasn't in a hurry, I just let it ride. I too have found that they're generally the most expensive outfit around for most items, but once in a while I'll see a good price on something.

I've noticed that also about their prices as I tend to price shop before I purchase. I can't remember the last time I bought from Qtec just because their price was lowest.
Yeah, I know, they'll "price match" anything (as long as it fits the small print criteria). But is anyone actually going thru the leg work to contact them to get them to match a lower price...? Aren't we all just buying from the other vendor because they have the lower price, then moving on with our day?

So QT has more than one warehouse in different parts of the US and with combined orders they get shipped together as one order, If one part is in one warehouse and another in the main warehouse you have to wait for the part s to be shipped to main warehouse first before dispatch to customer, If part/parts are available in main warehouse they are dispatched same day or next working day.

So in my case it seems a very low stock item in main warehouse shown as "in Stock" became extended delivery time because one part now has to be shipped to main warehouse first before QT can ship my combined order.
If my items were shipped separate I would have needed to pay double the International shipping costs
QT does not get your funds until the items are ready to ship they are held by Paypal or credit card.
The emails to me were just a bit confusing but once explained by Hailey they made more sense. I could have cancelled the delayed item and the other item in main warehouse would have been shipped to me straight away.

In my case it is even more 'extreme'. More than one item I ordered is shown on the Quadratec website as "direct ship", so for a US buyer the product goes directly to them from the supplier. In my case it has to be shipped to Quadratec and they then go through an exceptional process of adding it to the items they have in their stock before shipping.

When you take account of quoted shipping costs, for overseas customers Quadratec can end up significantly cheaper than some alternatives.

I’ve not ordered much from QT in the last, but I just ordered a new Rampage top because they had the cheapest price I could find for the sailcloth version. It is on back order, which was noted on the site when I ordered last week, with an expected date this week. We shall see.
Good update. As I noted when I ordered the top, QT stated it was on backorder, with an expected receipt date of 3/15. This afternoon I received a notice that it shipped out today. They said what they were going to do, and they did what they said. Can't complain about that.

The thing is its no good having an item sitting in your cart that is "Ready to ship" then take your time to find additional items to add to cart!
When I put one item on special in my QT cart It was "ready to ship" but by the time I had found the other parts I wanted (over a day later) the first item in cart was no longer "Ready to ship" without me realizing it when I paid for the entire cart. I am at fault for this thread not QT :)

Several years ago I ordered several items from QT and received them within 1-2 weeks, but their Customer Service has been dropping off in recent years.
Recently ordered a set of replacement bump stops since the website indicated they were In Stock, but several days later I received an email stating the parts were back ordered from the manufacturer and were not sure when they would be back in stock. (Interesting that Amazon didn't have a problem filling and delivering the order in 3 days.)
I called QT Customer Service 5X sitting on computer generated hold for 15-35 mins each time; no warm bodies picked up the phone. Sent several emails to Customer Service requesting the cancellation of the order. Two weeks later I received a response stating the order had been cancelled.

That is why Joe the "Lame Duck Smuck" is also referred to as Beijing Biden.
We also know this in Australia lol There is a reason your capitol is still fenced off and protected by national Guard the question is Why? I Think Pelosi Shumer Nadler even O Bummer Killery and all the rest have been fully tumbled by the masses this time! else it really is Alien invasion or zombie Apocalypse coming and they are protecting their Elite only "sanctuary tunnels" :)
