Project 1-tons and 40s

I've been reading more about the 99-04 Dana 60. Do you have pic of where the pumpkin sits at full stuff in the frame rails? The diff is so far to driver looks like itll almost be under the frame rails when centered.

Its super tight but thats the truss is hitting the front pully right there

Just finished a similar build. Didn't do a build thread here though, was on my local Jeep forum. I scrapped a full 91' F350 Diesel and took the axles from it and built from scratch. Ended up making money on the part out :) and paid for my axles.

Would you shave the Sterling again, if you had a choice? I only ask, as it seems like a lot of work if you are running 40s. I find with 40s it has plenty of clearance in the rear. Also helped moving my LS truck pan up out of the rocks.

I shortened my front to 65.5" (match rear Sterling) for the tight trails up here. Very nice build. Those GR brackets look very similar to TMR brackets. Look forward to seeing some wheeling pics

This was one of the other reasons I shortened my front axle. Pumpkin is in a much better place. This was full stuff with my LS. The power steering pump bracket is perfectly placed  had to swap the bolt around as it was "kissing" the bracket. One day I looked and it resembled the Terminator being shot in T2, just a big smudge of aluminum :)

I had to make my upper link bracket as short as I possibly could to clear

25% of tire so 40 in tire 10in link separation... l even took it fown to 9in to make more room
I had to compromise at 9" of link separation as well at the axle. At the frame the separation is built into the brackets UNLESS you cut and re-do them as separate mounts. Then you run into problems with links contact tub more...it is a fine line. Triangulation is easy to achieve over 50 degrees in the rear which is nice

I will come down for a visit once the borders are open. I have some friends in WA and OR waiting to wheel with me. Naches and Browns are on the list. I would post my build thread here, but I am so busy with kids and life at the moment. That is a couple evenings of posting BUT it is posted on Bcjeepclub.ca my local forum

Well I hope mine will be driving by early summer/late spring. I'm close to the Naches area so let me know. Never had a chance to kit the trails up in your neck of the woods

My rears are adjustable and they did hit the tub but some creative hammer work massaging the tub fixed that and the front l had to mod the frame bracket and move it up l had driveline clearance issues

Hit me up fror
