Also know that a lot of people hate on the badlands winches had one for years on the car trailer and it’s been great and for 300 Black Friday deal decided to stick with it.

I've had a couple HF winches and never had any issues with them.

New bumper this weekend, I had one I thought I wanted then this one popped up, it’s a bestop and was 160 shipped to the door a steal, and definitely could get my money back if I hated, bought it directly through them.

only issue I have had is the Grade 5 bolts I bought to replace just don’t wanna go in, the factory ones are tapered and these are not, but not sure if that’s my issue or just need to chase them to clean them up.

Bought both the Arizona Rocky Road radio and antenna mounts. Quality mounts and being just across town from the guy, shipping was painless. I ain't never put a radio in a Jeep before so, I will over time try and route the wires better.

I drove it! I bought this 2000 Wrangler Sport yesterday! Due to the pandemic waiting on Virginia's crazy DMV appointment to get registered and plates. Anyway drove it around the neighborhood for a while. Anyone know what color the top originally might have been. I can't find any info on what would have come with the patriot blue. It looks like it was some kind of blue. I do want to repaint it.

Got our girl a new top. It is brand new. I actually broke the seal on the shipping wrap.

NOW I need to find some windows. I tried the Montana ones I have, but the zipper pattern is slightly different

Yeah OEM Khaki. From a 2006 LJR (white with OEM khaki hard top) beautiful Jeep. He sold it in 2014 with 4000 miles on it. Unfortunately the guy gave the new owner the windows, surrounds and other hardware.

I’ll bet is was sharp looking. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a white one with khaki top.

Finally installed my stereo upgrade. I went with the Clarion M508 head unit. My rationale, much like someone else mentioned, is that I am trying to keep a more stock appearance and the typical Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer stereos have a little too much bling. I also added a Sony in-line amp 45Wx4, four Polk 5.25 speakers and a new "stock" sub from Quadratec. The in-line amp was easy to install, since it did not need separate power from the battery. I'm going to use XM probably 99% of the time, so I didn't need anything with a CD player. It also has Bluetooth, Pandora and inputs for a USB and 3.5mm jack on the front in case I can't get a signal for some reason. Sounds pretty darn good and can hear the stereo well, even on the highway.

That head unit looks much more at home in the LJ then most of the aftermarket ones. Good choice!

I was super disappointed to find out you can't get spice tops for LJs. Khaki is nice but not quite spice.

Go to the VA DMV facebook page and message them. Very responsive, they fill appt. holes. mine were under a week.

I go to the small DMV SELECT places that only do tags, title, registrations. There's even one around here in a grocery store nearby. No appointments or long lines like the regular DMV that have 15 lanes open and 3 people working. I went to one a couple weeks ago and was out in 10 minutes. You must wear a mask though.

Black, grey or camel. It should be the same as the interior color.
