What did you do to your TJ today?

Made the realization that I do not have to drop $400.00 on LED lights for the front bumper. I've been running a light bar on my Honda Pioneer for several years and it still looks like new, with no fading, no fogging no yellowing. So while I was in Tractor supply yesterday I spotted some really nice LED spot lights. Figured 99 bucks wasn't that bad of a deal.

Yes. I put one on my Unlimited in 2005. No need for one of those now, just buy the Savvy.

No they aren't hard to install. Just be patient with the adjustment process and you'll be good to go.

to clarify, I'm referring to the cable shiftier. I don't have any experience with the bracket.

Novak is also an option. I went Novak a few years back. I'd put this upgrade on any TJ's short list - So much smoother shifting!

dropped mine off at the local "old school" shop today.

NGK o2's (x4), inspect and replace as needed: Cats, muffler, etc..

P0138 showed up yesterday and I was going to have them replace the exhaust anyways, so good timing!

I scheduled my new to me TJ for new brakes and its 60k mile service recommendations in the owners manual. It's an 04 Rubicon automatic with 67k miles. It's been wheeled around Arizona by the PO's but is in great shape. I want to keep this TJ forever and then pass it down to my sons (a long time from now hopefully!) so I'm looking to keep it well maintained. Is there anything else I should have done besides what's in the owners manual for 60k miles?

Actually yes. I am installing an OME 2.5” lift as soon as it arrives. After that will be 17” wheels and 33” tires when I return next summer from deployment. Will probably need spacers. I also do not want to be sprayed while wheeling. What you got.

Thank you! I had a yellow 2001 TJ Sport in Ohio before I moved to Arizona 4 years ago. It was rusted some in the frame of course so I sold it before moving and we bought an Amber Fire 2000 Sport here. ......but I've missed my yellow one so much I started on a quest to find another and bought this one a couple weeks ago. Amazing how their value has gone up here in Arizona!
I just now heard from the PO and he says he's changed the differential and transfer case fluids at 65k, and the transmission fluid and filter at 60k. He's also recently replaced the rear main seal and replaced the plugs. So, my service costs just went down significantly

The tires are 33x12.5x15 BFG AT KO's. Its got a 3" JKS susp. lift and a 1" Daystar body lift.

After the recent installation of 2" lift springs to replace the 20 year old sagging factory springs I determined that the front swaybar links are too short; which gives me an excuse to order a set of JKS 2000 0-2" swaybar disconnects.

I ordered a new clutch master/slave cylinder from Rockauto. When I knew it was on the truck and out for delivery, I removed the old one. They sent the wrong part and my Jeep is my DD. I had to walk 3 miles to Autozone and buy their DuroCRAP brand for double the price. I was pissed!

I had a similar problem when I ordered a clutch master/slave cylinder from RockAuto; I had a difficult time returning the parts. They questioned why the part didn't work and wanted specifics as to why. I told them that its not my responsibility to explain specifically why it didn't work. Their parts supplier they use should ensure what is sent and if there are previous issues with the part.
After my insistence that they are the vendor and its their responsibility; they accepted the return and paid for shipping thru FedEx.

I have a set of 6” flares I just took off. You pay shipping and they’re yours. They are in good shape, just dirty.

Just put in my new Trektop NX for the summer. My wife was tired of helping me take the hardtop on and off. I considered rigging up a lift in my garage, but this seemed like a good excuse to get a soft top for the summer.

How do you like it? I have one I just recieved but haven't installed yet. I wanted to keep with the traditional soft top look, but the versatility of the trek top made me decide to order it.
