TJ Stretch Fuel Tank Options

Please do. I'm scratching my head at the charcoal canister for a 5" rear push.

You can loose the canister with no ill effects. With my stretch, I run everything but the canister, and it all still fits in the passenger wheel well relocated all the way to the back of the body. If I recall correctly, all I did was to redo the plumbing to take the canister out of the loop. I was worried that I would get fuel smell. But that has never happened. I also built a custom bracket to hold the pump assembly.

i had read an old post off of Pirate, they pull off the can, snip the parts off the brackets and tuck whats left up underneath.
sorry i don't have it marked.

but down low is not how' i'd expect to see these fit since fuel could puddle if it's not above the tank.

The pump assembly is at the exact height of the stock location. There is nothing left over to tuck underneath, just replumbed to eliminate the canister from the loop. This approach leaves the purge valve in place and functioning, so no codes.

So here is what I ended up doing. Gold rollover on the drivers side is a vent line. Black fitting on the passenger side is a cap. That does nothing. Blue fitting on the passenger side is a rollover valve. I drilled a hole in the tank and installed that. Then ran that to the EVAP.

As for that EVAP, I can't find any pictures right now but I essentially did the same thing as @NashvilleTJ did to his. But I ended up temporarily Zip Tying mine in place. Works great. No smells, etc.

Where did you get the "Blue Fitting"

ALso what fuel pump did you go with? or did you just resuse your old one?

Not sure if you're still on here, but I'm running into the same issue with the same tank. I've done an insane amount of research and comparisons and I'm struggling to wrap my head around it. Came across your post here and I'm relieved I did, however I'm struggling a bit to comprehend what you did and what is connected to where? The stock tank has the check valve where the capped off valve is, and the ROV where the brass AN fitting is. The C/V must be connected, is that what your blue fitting is? Why'd you choose to leave the other one capped off instead of using it? I'm going to call the company ASAP, but I wanted to see if you could provide some insights, as you experienced this.
