I assume these three bolts on the hinge are for a mirror, but what kind?

Yes, those 3 small screw are for the mirrors. Both TJ style mirrors fit. The newer style (can't remember the year they started) seem to be better. The older style tend to loosen up really bad and get knocked out of alignment just by the wind from driving.

I never knew you could replace just the pins on the hinges.

I hope that mirrors are easier to obtain than trim panels…

Bestop makes some of the newer style if you want to buy new. Some other companies too, but I can't remember the brand.

I got mine for the half-doors from car-part. I want to say $40-$50 for the pair. They were faded perfectly to match the rest of my faded black plastics. LOL

Speaking of car-part, I’m obviously a salvage-yard naïf; are those prices at all negotiable? I’m extremely bad at haggling.

Found an OEM set on eBay that matched my 03 style on my full doors. Sold the 02 style that came with the half doors on marketplace. Net zero cost.

Another easy option rather than Mcgard locks is to just unhook the lock rod on the interior so that the door only locks and unlocks with the key. Can’t take the doors if you can’t open them!
Or figure how replicate what my driver door is doing where it’ll lock from inside but only unlocks with a key.
