My husband and I just purchased a 2005 Wrangler X with only 37K miles and are ready to get started on cleaning up the inside.
My 1st plan is carpet so I started researching on here and read through the detailed 16 page thread on how to sound deaden the interior which leaves me some questions please.
I ordered samples of Bedrug and ACC, but am leaning right now towards Bedrug. That said..
Thanks!

- Noico seems to be a good/popular one for sound deadening. I see many have used 80 mil and then 150 mil over it. How much does this help with heat since these products seem more for sound? OR am I better at option 2 below
- If you want more heat control am I better doing Noico 80mil and then the carinsulation.com on top of it?
- Is there a better option than these 2? Why use 2 separate products, is there just one product to use that will do both like SIless? It looks like it can do both with the 150 mil? Or still not as good as option 1 or 2 above.
- Any concerns with bedrug fitting on top of these options? From what I read it should still be ok, but didn’t find a ton. What I did see is if we went the ACC route to prob just get the thinner cut pile carpet and not the Essex.
Thanks!
