Basket's Build

I would like to use an empty space in my PDC for the fuse for this. Empty spaces need terminals added - one comes from the "bus bar" underneath and the other should go to my wire to compressor. Is there any way to get the parts needed for "from bus bar" and the end terminal for the wire other than a junkyard piece like this thread?

Yep I'll send you a couple of wires. Any preference in color? I will try to get them out tomorrow.

You have them leftover from a PDC or do you know where to get them?

I guess the wire I'm using is red...

When I made my new wiring harness for my V-8 swap I tore my old harness apart along with removing all the wires from the PDC to use in the future if needed. So Yes I have some spare wires. I'll see what Red colored wires I have.

Well thanks! I'll take any color i can hardly see red anyways

You better make it to Moab so I can buy you lunch or something then

Working on getting the motorhome fixed... Hate to pay someone to do it but I wasn't looking forward to doing the head gaskets... But DAMN $12K to fix it...

I thought you already got started on that. 12k sounds like an "I don't wanna do this" price

Too cold to work on the motorhome right now. Supposed to snow here again this week. If I had a shop big enough to fit it into I'd pull the engine and do the work myself. It's actually a decent price for the work they are doing. And to have it fixed IMO it's worth it.

These are the ends that will snap into the slots of the PDC.

I'm throwing in some heavier wires too. These fit in the larger fuse slots.

I also threw in some of the connectors I've been using.

Thank you!! Yeah, I can totally see those things in there.

So where do you guys like to get switched power wire? Can I just tap into something nearby or is that not ok? Just for the switch part of the relay.

Like this guy looks like it's a brake fluid level sensor maybe?

If you're going to be running a + wire from the PDC to the pump you could just tap into that power for the switch too.

If you want it wired so it can only have power when the key is on you would just tap your power inside the PDC from a "Key on" power source. Since you're putting the switch under the hood I don't think it would really matter if it was Key on or not. It's not like that pump is going to be quiet enough for you to not notice it's on with the engine not running.

That would be easiest... it won't be a problem that that wire from the battery is behind a 40a fuse? Switches won't care?
