C'mon Doug!
The shafts are fine, the u joints just don't last. I even put a small tack weld on the caps. They didn't move in the yokes.

Doug, maybe those new tires have to much traction for the axles! You better put the bald ones back on!
I haven't even had it in 4 wheel drive to find out.
Did you flop like Mike and need a new rig, or is this something other than your TJ with Long Arms? I thought you had ultra-wide JK axles there.

No, when I flop, I get lucky. Just a window.

You got lucky when my wife fell on you, or did you flop again?
I’m hoping to get up in the mountains in a couple weeks for a day drive. Obviously most trails are impassable this early, but are there any lower elevation trail recommendations within ~2 hours of Denver? Around Breck, Idaho Springs, or Fairplay maybe?
Above Idaho Springs going up Virginia Canyon Road is a large network of easy trails. A lot should be clear by now.
I was in England, Wales and Scotland last week. Sounds like most everyone is broken down. Welcome to my world!
