Brother it is hot.

We have already lost a lot of cattle.

The corn in the field popped and the cows thought it was snow and froze to death.

I've installed similar ones on my brother's old TJ. Assuming they are a cut the factory fenders type install?

I recommend pulling the stock fenders, and running the Genright inners instead. You can likely sell the stock fenders for more than the cost of the inners, and you wind up with a better setup.

Then take into consideration, we live in the south and it's garden season.......... we can everything we pick.

Then we will can meat, even pinto beans.

Today is pinto bean day!!!!!!

It's 14 feet to the bottom of the trusses in my shop. I'm 75 years old and a little unsteady getting up on a ladder that high, so I built a frame to install the hoist.

This is so genius!! I should do this in my barn - it would give me more storage on top of that little Jeep garage!
Great idea!

Gorgeous black magic tail lights got put on. Had to ditch my old bumper to make room for the plate relocation. Not a big deal, been looking for replacements for the POS one I bought when I got my Jeep and had more excitement than sense. Next up is to ditch the matching front pile of shit for something that actually does its job.

Just installed a Bestop trunk that I couldn't help but buy locally for $40.00.

The top doesn't open up, so it might be an older design. It may be better for security and the sheet metal allows my taller jugs to fit without a fuss, which I couldn't always claim about the Jeep version.

It should also better handle the weight that I stack on top when I hit the trails. The plastic version probably wasn't meant to be a weight-bearing device or take the desert sunshine.

Removed (will keep for now)

Been thinking how to improve the exhaust but still be near the db level of OEM. Settled on this muffler. Longer muffler case then their cat back system- going full off set as it flows more CFM then the center inlet. I might step thorough it and add a resonator later… note this brand does not step down internally.

My system has been good, but I wanted it to be better since it's getting hot here.

I'm currently running Thermocure through the engine (again). Before doing the Thermocure, I back-flushed the radiator and the heater core.

My temps are already much nicer and that's just in time for the heat wave.

Around noon today on the highway (slight incline):

It didn't get this hot until after I was doing more around 85 mph at 5 psi of boost right before I took the photos. The hottest I saw was 215* for about 3 seconds before it dropped back to 212* as the hottest consistent temp.

My coolant temps held up well today on my way to get the Insta-Trunk.

I'll drop the Thermocure from the system this weekend.

This looks like a plate similar to the battery plate but on the Driver side bolted to the fender support.

This is off of my 04. Wasn’t on that plate either as I have it out right now getting ready to fab up a mount for auxbeam switch box. It appears they redesigned it and stuck it to bottom of hood near firewall. In looking at it, it appears your part # ends AB. Yours may be successor and “updated”. Or could be difference in models?
