Six Pack Remote Functional Butterflies

Finally finished up the remote functional butterflies for my hood scoop on my truck, all it lacks now is the final finish and mounting. they operate via key fob remote.

It'll feed my Vararam from the top, but I'll be able to close it if I get caught in a down pour now, plus it's just cool looking.

What happens when the hood scoop opens? Does it feed directly into the air box?

Yes, I also made the removable Air Grabber (years ago) funnel that works too, the Vararam seals to the bottom of the hood.

That's very cool! I wonder if you'll be able to notice any difference when you activate the hood scoop. Even if not, it's still pretty trick. Especially in a modern day and age where most hood scoops are purely decorative.

Not sure, I certainly noticed a little when I added the snorkel, this will be a huge volume of air being sucked in? It's all sealed.
Last phase after re-gearing is to have a custom tune done. Have already done the headers and free flow exhaust and will delete the cats next. Theoretically, more air in, more air out = more HP.
But I agree, it's just pure fun to watch. These scoops just scream old school MOPAR on these trucks imo.

Finally getting close to the end.
Graphics, pin striping and clear coat complete, the frayed looking holes on the "Air Grabber" snorkle top are where the hood pin buttons go to anchor it down. Just need to reassemble the linear actuator and install the aluminum butterflies, butterflies will be painted orange too. The Six Pack will go back to the wrapper one more time to be sealed with ppv for UV protection. Next is to reinforce the bottom of the hood with carbon fiber where the hole will be cut to eliminate any possible flex and then mount this bug sucker!

Air Grabber all buttoned up underneath, the carbon fiber is blinding under the sun, but yells out pretty good under no sunlight too. Still trying to decide whether or not to put the black rubber trim pieces back on?
