Hi Gang!

Hope everyone are doing well! This is a great place .... ;)

I'm 78 years old (fixed income), had Wranglers for 35-45 years. Only drive 1200 miles per year (or) less, in South Florida (Have a Car Port). No Off Road Use, (Never). For my 2004 - 4.0 158K, currently looking at THESE on Amazon (or) THESE also on Amazon. I've had Hankook before and liked them. For a bit wider tire I usually get 235/75R15, but it may not be necessary anymore? I have a nice Local Tire Guy = $25 Per Tire.

Any Opinions?

Howdy . I would lean towards a plain old Goodyear Wrangler

Yes, the Good Year's look Great but where do I get them? I don't believe my local guy can order these? I'll have to find out? If I'll need to order thru 'Tire Kingdom', or some place similar, they're probably gonna cost more, and they will insist on mounting them, (prob more $$ as well). ... Money is tight .... (fixed income). But Thanx, and I'll try to gather up more info.

Thanks deserteagle & Harold! I'm researching this tire to see if its available in my area .... Looks like its not available (and) neither is Delivery. However, I may have to drive out there to make sure?? We'll See? Thanks Again ...

Driving only 1200 miles/year...if it were me, I would talk to your tire guy about used tires. I'm sure he could find decent sets for cheap. Size wouldn't really matter as long as they were all the same size, and not so big that they would rub too much.

Hi WWII -Willys , I've ran these Walmart Goodyears on our 2004 , they worked well , however I was beyond disappointed when I discovered a bunch of cracks in the tread area when the tires were less than two years old . It reminded me of cheap Chi-Com rubber products . Your tire guy sounds like he can actually help you out .

Yeah Southern Florida can be tough at times ... I've had Hankook's before and never had any problems ... The exact issue for me is that the current tires, (installed 4-5 years ago and rotated), are worn to the point I'm getting 'Death Wobble' (and) the only way I've solved Death Wobble (on numerous prior occasions), is to have them all REPLACED ...

Would anyone use a 225 (rather than a 235)? This amazon choice (below) seems to work?

Either of those will be fine. I like the GT Radial's.

Honestly at 100 miles per month, it really doesn’t matter as long as they are safe.

Thank You Hasselblad! (y) BTW: The Apollo crews all brought Hasselblads with them! Artemis II brought older Nikons D5's ;) Always was partial to Nikon

I actually sold the Hassy last year, hope to buy another in the future, maybe in retirement. I have been rocking my Nikon D700 for over a decade, had a F4s a while prior and still use my manual nikkors.

You should get a Garand with jeep scabbard for your jeep!
