5 months since placing an order with Bartact (Is this normal?)

Is anyone else experiencing an unusually long wait time? I placed an order for "custom" front and rear seat covers, as well as a console cover and some paracord door pulls. I emailed a month ago and they apologized and said they would try to have the order out that coming Friday. A month later, and still no word.

I understand I ordered something custom but, as best I recall at this point, it wasn't anything wild. 5 months is getting a little ridiculous, no?

Experiencing the same thing and just for a set of front seat covers. I think it’s been 2 months. I spoke with them last week and he told me they were super backed up and doing their best to get caught up. Frustrating but I did appreciate the quality when I had them on my last Jeep so I’m trying my best to be patient.

Well, it's at somewhat of a relief to hear of others in the same situation. I emailed again after messaging here. Hopefully there will be some good news tomorrow.

Same here. Still no communication from them.
Ordered front and rear molle set and 3 1/2 months later, nothing.

i ordered a console lid cover to match my bartact seat covers and after many months i raised enough hell that they finally agreed to refund my money. not sure what’s going on with them these days. my custom seat covers were made and shipped promptly a couple years before trying to order console lid cover.
 
I figured I'd circle back on this with an update.
I received my seat covers on August 22nd, five and half months after ordering. The good news is, the seat covers were just as I had ordered and look great. Like many have said, they are a bit of a wrestling match to put on, but the fact that they fit tight is why they look so good. And the install is pretty straight forward even without any instructions. I did check out a YouTube video just to be confirm that I was getting everything correct.
That said, I did NOT receive the center console lid cover nor the paracord door handles that I ordered along with the seat covers. I have emailed Bartact twice now - once directly to the person I was emailing with about the original delivery and once by clicking a link in the email I received after my order was delivered.
Both emails have gone unanswered so far. Love the seat covers but my overall experience with Bartact has not been great.

Sounds like they make a good product but their customer service sucks.

Glad you got them. You're right also, the reason they look so good is because of the tight fit.

I seem to remember a couple years ago that their production had moved to China. I'm also guessing that Jl/JK covers are a higher priority since they're newer, and they don't sell as many TJ covers.
I called them about a repair about 3 YEARS ago and they never called me back. I've since replaced them with a set of Cal Trends. They're not as good, but they're about a third the price.

Glad you got them, I’m STILL waiting patiently so hopefully they arrive soon.

Still not an email or message of any kind from Bartact on these fuckin seat covers, is this the new normal for them or did they shutter up? I was told the last time I made contact that they were “cut and headed to stitching”. I mean who tf they have stitching on 2 front seat covers for over a month 😂
 
Update:
I ended up filing a complaint via PayPal two weeks ago.
Bartact CS reached out to me within 3 days. They were like “Yikes, this is unacceptable on our part. We are sending your rear seat covers tomorrow and refunding you $200.”
Which they in fact did.
Then the day I received my rear covers I got tracking information for my front covers.
They showed up today.
Almost exactly 5 months from placing the order and paying to receiving today.
What an absolute fiasco.

I will say this, they are the best covers I have ever seen and used. Fit is exceptional. Wear the best I’ve ever seen. This is now my second set. First set has been in use for 4 years. Still perfect.
