Grab handles that bolt to the roll bar?

Anybody make grab handles that mount using either the holes for the side windows or other means of bolting up to the roll bars? I don’t want to use the paracord Velcro wrap-around grab handles. I’ve had the forward mounted steel handles in other Jeeps, but being in an ‘04 now I’d rather not have to cut away my A-pillar trim to mount those.

Since I have full doors and will likely never own half doors I’m wondering if anyone has made handles that bolt up to the underside of the roll bars using the two holes that are already up there? Or perhaps have home-brewed some by welding nuts into the roll bars slightly offset from those holes for a solid mount that will still allow for side window use? They don’t necessarily need to be solid. A longer paracord type that bolts solidly to the roll bar at each end will do nicely.

I’m open to suggestions.

The two holes on the bottom side of the roll bars where the foam and cloth covers are cut away to expose two holes. Are those for the soft top door surrounds? I thought the side windows popped up into them. I’ve only had one JK with a soft top but it had both tops and I never used the soft top. Anyway… if I was wrong about why they’re there, now I think we all know what I’m trying to describe.

With my 05 on 5.5" lift and no step, even with 33" tires I needed a sturdy grab bar (in addition to a paracord loop) to haul my old bones up into the seat. So, I installed the Crown RT Bars shown which do require cutting clearance holes in the plastic a-pillar trim. After a bit of measuring and using a hole saw, they came out fine. The term "form follows function" applies but my choice also factored safety with padded style IMO less likely to cause cranial injury in case of vehicle roll over. Quite solid, yet inexpensive at $54 on Amazon.

Those are basically what I had in my JKs. I like them but am (was) hesitant to cut my windshield surround trim. But maybe it’s less involved that what I thought. I looked at the CMM Offroad handles but even they require cutting the foam and installing clamshell brackets on the roll bars. AND they’re just shy of $200.00!!! Nope.
