Jeep was sitting, one day the floor was wet with coolant. This was not long after bypassing the heater core. It’s been sitting since, maybe 6-8 weeks. Today i added coolant to see where its leaking from, it immediately started dripping from near the belt pulley.

I drained the oil, unfortunately used a dirty pan but i thought it looked good when first coming out, but then there were some bubbles at the top.

Idk if it’s the head gasket, i wouldn't think it would leak shut off if it was the head gasket? It was running absolutely fine after bypassing the heater core, no other indication anything was wrong except it decided to piss on the floor when sitting for awhile.

I know it’s time for hoses and radiator, just dont know if its more than that. Lmk if you want more pics.

I really appreciate you guys.

Thank you. I tried different search terms and found a bunch of info. I guess I was hyper fixated on it being the head gasket and forgot to include "pulley" in my search. Sorry for duplicating a common thread.

As stated, water pump. Just did mine. Check the hoses, fan clutch and belt. If the thermostat is old, might want to change it now.
