Yea it kinda comes down to what you prefer to prioritize.

A trail build makes great sense if it's a rig that hits the trail more often than not. But if you don't hit the trails as often, that allows freedom to do other things as long as those choices don't compromise your rig on trail day.

I DD my rig way more than I trail it, but I try to keep the cargo area open so trail days can't harm anything.

I’m in the same boat. Reality is I work for a living so can’t hit trails all the time! Mostly a DD.

I thought I was going to go crazy. For weeks there has been what sounded like a nest of baby birds chirping in my Jeep. They kept growing and getting louder and louder. Three of my kids rode in the backseat and listened while I was driving down the road to try to find the stupid birds. Then I got in the back while my son drove and I tried to find the stupid birds. Nobody could find the birds. I thought I was gonna go freaking crazy. I shook the Jeep when it was off. I did everything I could possibly think I have to try to find the stupid birds. Then, I said, “that’s it,” and I took off the hard top thinking maybe it had something to do with the hard top mating with the tub. No, it still squeaked with the top off. But at least that narrowed things down. It really helped because then I could stand outside the Jeep and shake the Jeep and get places I couldn’t get and do whatever and feel around and find it. I found the birds. I killed them. Smashed them. The Jeep is super quiet again. I’m so happy. Best day ever.

Were you in the back seat while driving again? I had hoped this was behind you.

One time we had a roller pigeon on our back porch. We were like, what’s going on? Where did you come from? I got close enough to read the tag. Then I called the National Pigeon Registry. They were anxious to get this roller back to the owner, but it flew away.

I have a love/hate relationship with birds. If I hate them I shoot them. Cardinals are beautiful, territorial, and dumb. Cowbirds I really hate. They are dominating brood parasites, sneaking their eggs in with other birds so they don’t have to sit on them and raise them. I shoot them. One day I shot about 20 of them. They didn’t come back. 🤣

Stupid cardinals will see their reflection in a window and try to fight themselves all day long. Protecting their territory from a reflection of themselves. I give them a real fight. The BB. I think they appreciate being put out of their misery.

Hummingbirds are promiscuous. That’s why they are always fighting around the feeder. They are living a soap opera. I like them though. I’ve saved several from my cats mouth. Then I hold them until they are conscious and fly to the nearest tree to fully recover. Crazy hummingbirds.

This would make for a great product review on Amazon

I’m curious… what was causing the chirping?
