Not knowing Currie's spring rates would be enough for me to not buy them. Just saying.

My fear for sure. Maybe put the Spare back on. I really deleted it for performance issues. It's nice being a little light in the rear. Spare is only 80lbs, but I don't know the spring rate on the Currie 4", so I don't know exactly the effect, but 1/2" if they are 160in/lb's, but being that they are progressive springs and I don't know how to calculate that, who knows.

EDIT: Yep, I've gone full retard! How have you held out so long?!

The progressive and dual rate info is proprietary so good luck getting that from them, may as well call MetalCloak and get theirs too

I'll try and remember to measure the lift on the rear when I'm working on the jeep tonight and get you the measurements. I don't have the spare on currently.

12.5" - no spare, no rear seat.

I musta had a blonde (silver) moment when I googled a picture of it. We pay about 8 to10 bucks each depending on size. Hopefully you didn’t pay much more than that

That’s crazy expensive LOL I just googled an image of a Weldon zero flute countersink I never looked at the site. That’s a 90 degree for huge FH undercut screws to boot

That's helpful. Right now I'm F 15.5" and R 11.5", so a 4" coil seems reasonable. I'd be somewhere around 16" and 12.25", a 1/4" more rake, but we'll see.

What shocks are people running with this lift with the stock towers, or am I looking at extending shock towers and going F 11" and R 12"?

It dawned on me that my measurement may be a bit tall since I didn't have the gas tank in either. I have a full tank sitting next to the jeep so I'll get back to you with an updated number if it changes more than .25"

Full tank of fuel is 118 lbs. + the weight of the tank and skid. I bet that may lower it a bit.

So, with a full tank of gas my rear would be almost 3/4" lower, which is 10 3/4". Always will be fluctuation back there, so it's an unstable variable, but nice to know the upper and lower limits.

Just run your 33" tires for now and when you hit about 50% tread sell them and get some 35" tires and new gears. Hehehe I like helping others SPEND their money.

No problem. Out of curiosity I took the measurent with the spare and it lowered it an additional 3/8th.

Unless I keep a full tank it;s going to generally ride a bit high. Hmmm....When I take the hardtop off it;s going to get worse. I could strap a couple 45 lb weights in the back.
