Had it traded. Then backed out. I couldn't let it go. Been super busy with work, another baby on the way, finishing our house to sell and running my local jeep club.

Been reading up on the DIY hi-line fenders using stock fenders. So I'm hunting for stock ones.

Oh yeah, I think highline fenders using the stock flares would look good. Problem is, I am not sure who makes those fender flares.
 
I think AEV stopped production on their kit. But it's also $2k?

Some progress. The links have been moved to the top side of the cross member so they don't get hung up.
Also took 1.5" of the top of the truss.

finally back home! Ready for some paint and the body install.

The bolt that holds the grill down broke off. That's Gonna be a real pain. Not sure how to approach that issue.

Was gonna buy BTF tube fenders but they are on back order.

7k... I kept the bumper and winch.

I bought a 2dr xj one hour later lol. Comes with a set of frame stiffeners and full weeks in cage kit. Not bad for $500.00

The jeep was a must sale, our son is due in January and had major heart issues ( worst case a transplant )...... so I decided to free up funds.

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear that. Family always comes first though!

My sisters son was born with a congenital heart defect and he had to have open heart surgery a week after he was born. They didn't think he was going to make it and also thought they might have to do a heart transplant. He ended up pulling through though and just turned 2!

Your son will be in our thoughts and prayers!
