I installed some pre-2004 TJ Seats into my 2006 TJ Wrangler, I'm 6'5" and I can't imagine being any taller in my TJ though the amount I can see over the hood and fenders is much better as well.
No, I haven’tYou guys that have seat risers, when you flip the passenger seat forward, does the head-rest part of the seat hit the windshield? I've read horror stories about the seat shattering the windshield if you're not careful.
Along with the seat risers I installed the Misch big boy brackets.
Increased leg room by 4" and made a huge difference.
They are great.

I may have to try that on the passenger's side of my TJ. It would be nice to sit a little further away when I am the passenger and my 16 year old daughter is the driver, which is most of the time.
Well I'm Irish, sooooo.....
Did you lose any backseat leg/foot room? Are these just for later models or will they work on early models too?Along with the seat risers I installed the Misch big boy brackets.

Thanks for the rec, I just ordered. I am definitely always craning my head forward trying to see when I'm wheeling.Where have these little gems been my whole life! I’m 6’-2”, 230 lbs and driving 2006 TJ. These 2” risers just changed my world!

Makes a big difference!I got a seat cushion to try it out in my 06 and the higher seat position is much better, I can see the end of the hood for the first time and changing gear feels more natural, defiantly getting seat risers now.
