Aluminum vs Steel Bumpers

I didn't mean to say you were getting paid from Savvy, just wondering how much sales come from forum members talking about there stuff. Without this forum I wonder how many jeepers had ever herd the name Savvy before.

I've been apart of several Jeep related forums. All of them talk about Savvy.

Out of curiosity, in terms of road safety, how will something like the 6061-T6 perform in an accident compared to the other aluminium bumpers mention or even a stock steel one?
A bumper isn't going to make a significant difference, the TJ's crumple zone is in its frame and not in the bumper.

Some people follow what’s told to them and never question anything, some learn from failing, correcting the failure and understanding how things work...I am the latter.
The beauty of the internet and forums, is we speed up the process by picking up where others have already been. A lot of questions we have, are already answered. No need to reinvent the problem.

A member from the UK (sorry could not find it!!) mentioned about rules regarding adverts. I think, not 100% sure that we have similar laws but, we may be able to squeek one piece of said material in the build and then advertise that material, for instance, the straight parts that mount to the frame may be 6061-T6...Or the tube??

Got a little farther along making the GR bumper “heavier duty” between honeydews and making some jerky.
