The Bible was in English?
Aramaic was the language of most of the original scripts and Jesus btw....
Why do I know this? My brother-in-law speaks, reads and writes Aramaic. Where did he learn this? He's a Franciscan Monk and has been for 35 years. He's read a lot of the original writings that formed the Bible and many others from that time period as part of what he does....
Fun fact... he was one of several Franciscans consulted when Mel Gibson make the Passion of the Christ which had Aramaic dialogue.
I believe those scripts were translated into Hebrew... then Greek... then to English in some cases.
That thing should not be teaching.
