hmmm....
I'm dumbfounded with this one. On the one hand, I see two vehicles tied together at the hitch ball holes in their hitch extensions. On the other, one of them (the SUV) has no rear wheels. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words. Not this one...
Basically this, but with regular hitches. Taking the rear wheels off serves the same function as lifting them in the air.
Apparently this is a common way to take trucks back to Mexico.
Oh... I'm sure if the NY kid had been on top it would have been 4 on one....
Usually someone is kicking them in the face why the other person holds them down.
Being from Commiefornia, I’ve been around lane splitting for my whole riding career. And yeah, lane splitting at speed is very dangerous.
And there are restrictions too, but the guys doing it at speed are breaking the law.
It was lobbied for air cooled motorcycles to move through stopped or extremely slow traffic to avoid overheating IIRC.
Not as a means to pass at speed on any roadway or highway.
I done it plenty, but you’re asking for some assh*le to cut you off or pinch you between cars. I had some jerk try knocking me off my bike with his camper mirror one day on the Nimitz in almost stopped traffic.
And people get major pissed when you matriculate through traffic at stop lights, like somehow you just stole something from them! So I seldomly do that.
Now I ride more in Nevada, and it’s illegal here.
