Who would benefit from the Keystone pipeline? It is owned by a Canadian energy company.

Lets say Trump's sanctions were too little too late. Would doing more in his first year have been better? Probably. Why wasn't anything more (or even less) than that done any year before he was in office? And regardless of the timing, how does stopping the sanctions now correct the problem of "too little too late" from back then?

That Canadian energy company would benefit by getting their product where they were sending it and the USA would benefit by getting paid for transporting that product. I don't think the USA was building a pipeline to offer free use to anyone.

Your koch industries comment and link certainly aren't something to argue against but they must be a "Look! There's a squirrel!"

Let's get back from that squirrel hunt. For the third part of your earlier question my answer was about Russia gaining their best interest (money from energy) while we stopped our own best interest (money and energy).

Koch Industries uses tar sands oil in their refineries. I should have put that in the other post. It wasn't meant to distract. My bad.

I don't believe Keystone would have helped the average American in the long run.
