Did you see the 2 teams? One was a different shade than the other. The leftists actually call these athletes and tell them they are influencers and that anything about the flag, country or the national anthem is racist.

I didn't know if it was oppression, gaza, gays etc.

Iowa does have the best women's player ever so that helps.

Still, I hate hearing that she bested Pete and I think he deserves an asterisk.

The pistol was the most dominant scorer the game ever saw IMHO. Drugs, women and injury kept him from a dominant NBA career.

He scored 63 points as a Freshman agains the varsity (freshmen were not allowed to play varsity back in those days) and beat the top ranked LSU varsity easily in his first college game.

And that's why I say he deserves an asterisk.

As you noted he wasn't allowed to play varsity as a freshman so none of the points from his Freshman season count toward his college career numbers.

He averaged mid 40 ppg all four years of college but since his freshman year isn't counted his record has been beaten by a girl who averages upper 20's for 3 years and has just cracked into the 30's for her final year.

Plus, no shot clock and no 3 pointers for Pete.

And the movie about him is worth the watch.
