Just "texting". Its great for teenaged girls and for short "Pick up some milk while you're out" type messages, but not much else. I turned it off about 3 years ago when SPAM texts suddenly became a "thing" as I didn't use it that much anyway. I told my wife "I'm not paying for SPAM texts to set this thing off".Communication through a text box?

I spend more time trying to find my cell phone than using it.
I have been two weeks looking for my prescription glasses and my rechargeable flashlight. The last time I had them at the same time I was under the Jeep admiring the leaks.

Yes, there's an app for that. Won't let me use flashlight with camera (which is what I use to magnify), but search magnifying glass in the app store and there are plenty of options.
I almost spit out my beer yesterday when my wife did both of those to read the restaurant menu. Maybe I can get her under the Jeep to help for a change.
