So, if you pray and ask God for something, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some Christians believe they have some sort of authority over spirits, demons, etc. That was an authority given to the early church apostles when starting the church, but ended with them. Most of the megachurches are "name it and claim it" churches and rake in their millions off the backs of the poor & sick in the name of "give and it will be given unto you" and "have faith & God will answer your prayers"
It's misguided at best, manipulative on average and deceitful at worst.
Not trying to preach, so please don't take it that way. I'm just trying to point out not all Christians are biblical, but also, not all Christians are hypocrites
