There is a guy down the road who seems to be living by that mind set. He lives beside of one of my friends and apparently he doesn't trust the banks, so he buys stuff, like 10 acres and at least 5 old firetrucks now. Since google went by, he has added a couple of old backhoes, a not small old Cat excavator and a Cat scrapper. I can't make up my mind if he's an idiot or a genius.
